I am using QTP 11.0 and Reflection Mainframe emulator (Attachmate Reflection suite for X 2011 R2) on Window 7 environment and having issue with object identification if reflection emulator is closed and re opened during the execution of the script.For First instance, where QTP launches the Reflection session, it is able to recognize the mainframe objects properly and scripts get executed well. However, during the execution, if emulator is closed and launched again (which is required for many scripts requiring multiple sequential logins with different users), then QTP stops recognizing the Terminal emulator objects and recognizes them as windows objects. Even manually performing the same steps produce the same results, however, if we validate the opened session through ToolsOptionsterminal EmulatorValidate button, then it again starts recognizing the session.Solutions Tried:. Tried coding script for disconnecting and connecting the session again instead of closing down the emulator so that QTP keep identifying the same session but that too didn’t work out.
